Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 27, 2026 · Applies to the Android app Zout: Path Marker (package com.zealyen.arrowgame), published by Zealyen Infotech.
THE SHORT VERSION
- You don't need an account, and we don't collect your name, email, or any personal profile to play.
- Your puzzle progress, stars, hints, and settings are stored only on your device — we never see them.
- The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device and advertising identifiers under its own privacy policy.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't have a server that stores your gameplay.
1. Who we are
Zout: Path Marker is developed and published by Zealyen Infotech ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what information the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have, in plain language.
2. Information we do not collect
Zout: Path Marker does not require you to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for, collect, or store your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal profile information. The app has no server-side backend for gameplay — there is nothing for us to collect even if we wanted to.
3. Information stored on your device
To let you resume where you left off, the app saves the following locally on your device only, using standard Android app storage:
- Level progress, stars earned, and completion status
- Hearts remaining, hints used, and elapsed time for the current puzzle
- Display preferences (light/dark theme, Calm Mode, Reduce Motion)
None of this data leaves your device, is transmitted to us, or is linked to your identity. Uninstalling the app removes it.
4. Advertising
The app is supported by ads served through Google AdMob (banner and interstitial ad formats). To deliver and measure ads, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect technical and device information, which can include:

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by us directly, under Google's Privacy Policy. You can review or adjust your ad personalization settings at adssettings.google.com, or limit ad tracking through your Android device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
5. Permissions the app uses
The app requests only the Android permissions needed to show ads and, where available, to play sound and haptic feedback (for example, network access and vibration). It does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, storage, or any other sensitive permission for gameplay purposes.
6. Children's privacy
Zout: Path Marker is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
7. Data sharing and sale
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. Because we don't collect personal data on our own servers, there is nothing beyond the advertising data described in Section 4 — handled directly by Google under its own policy — for us to share.
8. Data retention
Locally stored progress data (Section 3) persists on your device until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. We do not retain copies of this data anywhere else.
9. Your choices
- Clear your local progress at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Zout: Path Marker → Storage → Clear data.
- Opt out of personalized ads via Google Ads Settings.
- Uninstall the app at any time to remove all locally stored data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes — for example, if we add new features or ad formats. We'll update the "Effective date" above when we do. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
